lyrics
Torn from inside
Born is the abomination
Planets aligned to
Witness its transformation
Sacrificed every
Shred of innocent life
Achieving absolution
With Anatomic retribution
Cyphering their essence
Down to the core
Assembling a throne from their bones
For the overlord
Ropes of their spines
Wrapped into coils
Blood soaks the ground
Enriching the soil
To walk through this door
Is to never return
Embracing the furnace
A promise to burn
Pray for your life
Now is the time
Before I skin you alive
With my obsidian knife
Lying awake
In the wake of your pain
The darkness will reign
With a waving of his hand
Reading from the ancient scroll
It's words begin to take it's toll
The onset of flesh disease
Cursed us all with leprosy
A price to be paid in blood
And strip the beauty of the young
The night we've been waiting for
Now bring to me the offering
And let us feed
Upon this bleeding whore
I love the taste of skin
Soaked in fermented sin
To call soulless elite
Born deep within the void
Prophecy of a sacred rite
To bring the eternal night
The end of days
No warming rays
Of the dying of light of a setting sun that will never rise
Here to witness
Horizons of calamity
Disconnecting
The ties of my humanity
Consuming power
From life we devour
To pray to the fallen
And worship the king of the dark
Staring into the flame
I hear them call my name
They speak unholy ways
Of a path I must follow
A Place that I must go
Where nothing ever grows
Buried beneath the snow
Lies the grave of my soul

Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10 liltito

Arkaik have been a power-house in tech-death for quite some time now. Their latest album is as always a technical master-piece. But this time around, I find it more approachable and instantly enjoyable. v.v
